AwardFares Now Supports Delta SkyMiles Awards (2023)
AwardFares has been my go-to tool for searching award seats since I discovered it in 2019 (during Black Friday). I’ve written a full review (including a YouTube video walkthrough) and covered it many times on the blog. It’s definitely one of the best search engines for award flights.
Today, AwardFares released support for Delta SkyMiles awards, the missing piece in the four major US-based programs (together with American AAdvantage, United MileagePlus, and Alaska Mileage Plan). On top of that, Delta became the first SkyTeam program that the tool supports. This is going to be super convenient, even for EuroBonus members, since SAS announced it will leave Star Alliance.
The release comes just in time for their Black Friday sale, which starts Friday 24th and runs for a whole week.
AwardFares Adds Delta SkyMiles Awards
I quickly tried a few searches on a couple of routes. Note that AwardFares recently introduced award prices, so it’s easy to sort results by price by simply tapping the different cabins on the search header.
Here’s Atlanta to Buenos Aires with Delta Air Lines (also LATAM).
And Scandinavia (Stockholm, Copenhagen, or Oslo) to New York (JFK, EWR, LGA), on SkyTeam partners such as Air France and KLM.
