Fake Plane Tickets: Best Sites For Proof Of Onward Travel

Sometimes, one of the requirements for travelers entering a new country is proof of Onward Travel. This ‘proof’ ensures that the traveler intends to leave the country within the specified visa or stay duration. However, showing this proof can be a challenge for many reasons:

• It restricts your flexibility. Committing to specific exit dates can limit spontaneous travel plans! It discourages travelers who want to decide their next destination based on their ongoing experiences.
• It has a financial impact. Purchasing refundable tickets as proof can be expensive upfront. Cancellations for refunds can take time, tying up funds that travelers could use during their trip.
• It creates a logistical mess. Finding and booking the right onward ticket can be time-consuming and require thorough research. Travelers may end up spending a significant amount of time managing ticket bookings and cancellations.
• It limits options such as last-minute deals and open-ended travel. Spontaneous travelers or those dealing with emergencies might find it challenging to produce proof quickly. Digital nomads, backpackers, or those on gap years who have not planned their entire itinerary might find this requirement restrictive.

To overcome this hurdle, some have resorted to using fake plane tickets or temporary bookings. Before diving into the details, let’s understand the concept behind these services.

What Are Fake Plane Tickets?

Fake plane tickets are simulated ticket bookings that look like genuine reservations but are not backed by any real booking with an airline. Some services offer these mock tickets to travelers who need proof of onward travel without actually committing to a specific departure date.

Why Do Travelers Consider Using Them?

1. Flexibility: Some travelers like to keep their plans open and decide on their departure based on their experiences in the country.
2. Avoiding Extra Costs: Buying a refundable ticket as proof of onward travel can be costly, and though they can be canceled later for a refund, it may take some time for the money to be returned.

Best Sites For Proof Of Onward Travel (Not Necessarily “Fake”)

While using “fake” plane tickets is not recommended, some legitimate services offer a temporary booking that doesn’t hold off seats and gets canceled within a few hours. Since they use a valid booking system, most reservations are verified online with a valid booking code (PNR). Some services even have the option to book Hotels.

Here are our top picks.

1. Rent-a-Ticket Services: Some websites allow travelers to “rent” a plane ticket for a fee. These are real tickets, but they’re automatically canceled after a short period. This ensures travelers have legitimate proof of onward travel without a long-term commitment.
2. Ticket Booking Platforms With 24-hour Cancellation Policies: Some major travel booking platforms allow free cancellations within 24 hours of booking. Travelers can use this window to show proof of onward travel and cancel the booking without incurring any costs.
3. Travel Agencies: Some travel agencies, especially those specializing in round-the-world trips or long-term travel, can help provide temporary booking confirmations.

Potential Risks and Downsides

1. Legal Implications: Using fake documentation, even for something seemingly benign as a plane ticket, can be illegal. It can lead to fines, deportation, or being banned from re-entering a country.
2. Reliability Issues: There’s no guarantee that the border control officers haven’t seen a fake ticket from the same provider before or that they won’t call the airline to verify.
3. Ethical Concerns: Using deceptive practices doesn’t set a good precedent for responsible and respectful travel.

What NOT TO USE (Fake PDF Templates)

These are some of the websites I’d recommend not using. Overall, they are all sketchy, providing weird-looking PDFs or unverifiable reservations. I’ve tried them all without success, and I wouldn’t risk getting a fake airline ticket from them.

1. Fake Flight Tickets

Why it is sketchy: Fake Flight Tickets takes public information about real flights worldwide, mixes it up with your personal details, and generates a booking confirmation document that looks just like a real one! They claim it is pretty much impossible to tell the difference between a real flight confirmation and the one they generate unless you call and verify the validity of the ticket with them.

• No refunds
• No real data
• No verifiable PNR
• No changes in your PDF

2. KeyFlight

Avoid this website at all costs, except if it’s only for entertainment or recreational purposes. Read the first sentence on their website:

Attention! The flight ticked received from us is not a real ticket, although it looks like real. To generate a verifiable flight ticket, you need a PNR number. All responsibility for its use lies solely with you.

3. Trixo

Trixo is using data from the website’s API to create these tickets. They are completely fake, and although they offer a 24-hour refund, there are still no valid or verifiable PNRs.

Other alternatives to consider

1. Open Tickets: Some airlines offer open tickets, allowing passengers to choose return dates later.
2. Neighboring Countries: Consider buying a cheap ticket to a neighboring country. This can be an actual ticket you use or a refundable one you cancel later.
3. Extend or Change Visa Types: For longer stays, research if the country allows visa extensions or changes to different visa types that don’t require proof of onward travel.

Conclusion

You might need a valid flight booking with a verifiable and legitimate record locator in several circumstances. In those situations, making a real booking through an agency is usually costly, as flexible bookings are often more expensive and involve nonrefundable fees.

However, getting a fake plane ticket and hotel booking might be dangerous, as presenting counterfeit documents to embassies and authorities is illegal.

Instead, you can use an airline ticket generator (dummy ticket generator). Just ensure you get a valid record locator and not a fake PDF with random information that can get you in trouble.

Always understand the purpose of these bookings, which is to avoid risks and penalties for presenting false documentation. Dummy flight tickets are only valid under certain specific circumstances.
