Today I got an email announcing new Crypto.com Earn changes starting immediately (February 3rd, 2023); very typical from Crypto.com that doesn’t give any notice at all of their changes. We’ve seen that before.
Today, Crypto.com announced that they are switching to a new issuer (Foris MT Limited), replacing UAB Payrnet. The Crypto.com Visa new issuer update was announced this morning and hopefully will shorten the times for producing, shipping, and delivering the cards. I wonder if the quality of the cards would change.
The Crypto.com Visa card introduces foreign transaction fees since December 2022. Yet another reason to quit this card, after they stopped reimbursing Spotify and Netflix.
Crypto.com Visa will stop reimbursing Spotify and Netflix from January 23rd, 2023. With these new changes and the 1% credit card top-up fee they have introduced recently I will most likely stop using this card entirely. The golden days with high CRO prices and great benefits are now gone for long and there are very little incentives for keeping this card in use. Bye bye Crypto.com Visa!
