Stockholm to Mexico in Lufthansa Business Class: Four Flights in Four Days
Today I start a crazy (work related) 4-day trip from Stockholm to México. I’ll be flying round trip with Lufthansa. First, ARN to Frankfurt (FRA) on an early flight operated by an A321, connecting later into a 747-8I from FRA to Mexico.
The route Stockholm (ARN) – Frankfurt (FRA) – México (MEX) with Lufthansa
Since I have a 5 hour layover in Frankfurt, I’m looking forward to trying Lufthansa’s Senator Lounge in Terminal B for the first time, but also taking a look at Air Canada’s Maple Leaf Lounge.
The return flight is also operated by a 747 from MEX to FRA (red-eye). The last leg is scheduled to be operated by an A320neo from FRA to ARN.
Here’s a copy of the itinerary:
LH809 ARN-FRA, LH498 FRA-MEX
LH499 MEX-FRA, LH804 FRA-ARN
I bought this flight using SAS EuroBonus Points and one of my Fly 2×1 vouchers from my American Express SAS Elite card. The total price was 130000 points + 4780 sek for 2 adults, which means 65000 + 2390 kr per person. It is quite a great deal considering that the trip is worth over 34000kr if you pay it cash!
SAS Amex Elite Fly 2×1: The total trip was only 65000 points + 2390 SEK per passenger! This trip is worth over 34000 kr in cash.
On the outbound I will be flying the Upper Deck (85K) on the 747-8, and on the return flight the lower deck
Lufthansa 747-8 upper deck. I’ll be flying 85K.
Stay tuned to my YouTube channel since I’ll be posting a full flight review of all the four legs, including check-in, lounges, onboard product, etc.
