Have You Tried Any Of The Skytrax 2023 Best Airlines?
The Skytrax 2023 Best Airlines results just came in, with Singapore Airlines winning as the World’s Best Airline for the seventh time. Qatar Airways came in second place, followed by ANA All Nippon Airways in third.
Skytrax is a global airline rating organization that annually surveys airline passengers. The survey covers over 400 airlines and over 100 million passenger ratings.
Singapore Airlines is the World’s Best Airline for 2023
Singapore Airlines was selected for its excellent service, comfortable seats, and delicious food. The airline also scored well in cleanliness, punctuality, and in-flight entertainment.
Qatar Airways was also highly rated by passengers. The airline was praised for its luxurious business class product and state-of-the-art Doha airport.
ANA All Nippon Airways came in third place. The airline was praised for its friendly and efficient staff, as well as its excellent in-flight service.

The airline also dominated in the Middle East, winning ‘Best Airline’, ‘Best Business Class’, ‘Best Economy Class’, and ‘Best First Class’ in the region.
Wrap-up
It’s no surprise that Singapore Airlines won as the world’s best airline, they offer amazing soft and hard products, and there are a lot of travelers in that region. It’s really hard to move the needle in that space: it requires lots of votes and a very competitive product offering. The top players are expected to be among the winners in the short and medium term. On top of that, Asian airlines are usually far better than European and US airlines; if that changes, it will also take a long time.
It’s nice to see some new players winning in other categories. I’m happy to see SAS winning as the best northern airline. I’m also surprised that Copa won as the best Central American airline, but as you might have seen on my recent Copa Airlines Business Class review, their service is not great: the airport is crap, and it feels more like Premium Economy.
