It’s only in a few days, on February 9, that SAS will launch its new route between Copenhagen and John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York (SAS JFK to Copenhagen). This will be a regular service that will be restarted for the first time in 30 years. Even though they already had a route to Neward, the connection to JFK will save a ton of time for people from the East side of the city.
The route will be operated by the new SAS Airbus 321LR (A321neo). The business class cabin features fully flat seats in 7 rows of a 2-1-2 configuration.
There are still empty seats when booking with SAS EuroBonus as you can see both on AwardFares and the SAS website. For example, you can book business class on Feb 12th for 60.000 EuroBonus points. In my case, I can also book for 36.000 points and get a free upgrade using a Fly Premium voucher I get using the SAS EuroBonus World Mastercard Premium
