Brand New Scandinavian Airlines A320neo Stockholm to Copenhagen in SAS Plus (Premium Economy) [Trip Report]

This week, cleaning up a bit the videos I had unedited, I found the first leg of the trip to Chicago on the A350 inaugural flight with SAS.

That flight, on January 28th, was originally from Copenhagen (Denmark) to Chicago, so I had to position myself in CPH first. When I was booking, I wanted to make sure nothing could go wrong. I really wanted to catch that flight. To be on the safe side, I would have traveled one day before, just in case there was bad weather in Stockholm on the 28th. However, I didn’t want to stretch it that far…

Thus, I decided to book a super early flight on the 28th, so that I could have a 6-7 hour margin in case things went wrong. Either to catch another flight or to take a train down to CPH. There were plenty of options, but I decided to go for SK401 at 8 am, on a brand new Scandinavian Airlines A320neo.

In total, I paid 45.000 SAS EuroBonus points for the trip (+1300 SEK in taxes), in SAS Plus, with the return trip in Business Class (check the review here), using one of my American Express Fly 2-4-1 vouchers.

I hope you enjoy the review! Full visit to the SAS Gold Lounge at Arlanda Airport included, as well as full landing and takeoff videos. Beautiful views from the sky! Hope it helps to remember those days we could fly.
