The NEW Japan Airlines A350-1000 Premium Economy: New York to Tokyo (Review)

I’m really excited to share my latest review of Japan Airlines A350-1000 Premium Economy, which was launched on January 25th, 2024. This was my first time on an Airbus A350-1000 and also my first time on JAL. This flight was the 3rd leg (3/6) of my crazy round-the-world trip to Tokyo from Ushuaia.

I paid for this flight using 50,000 AAdvantage miles + $5 USD in taxes (one-way) and found the flight using AwardFares (just 2 seats available). Overall: The service and experience were incredible. I give a big shoutout to the crew on this flight, who was warm and caring. JAL is probably one of the few airlines in which I really felt a difference between Premium Economy and Main Cabin. I arrived at New York JFK from Buenos Aires and was in transit for 6 hours waiting for JAL’s flight.
