I found 190,535 Hilton Honors Points On My Account (And They Expire Soon)
Last week I got an email from Hilton Honors:
You haven’t used your membership perks in a while. As a Hilton Honor member, we want to make sure the 190535 Hilton Honors Points you’ve worked hard to earn don’t expire, on January 30th, 2023.
There are ways you can earn and redeem Points every 24 months to keep your account active.
I’ve been a Hilton Honors member since 2012, and most actively used their hotels and brand during the years 2015-2017. Together with Marriot, both are my go-to chains to look for accommodation when I’m not using Airbnb. As a Diamond member, I can free breakfast and other benefits by booking directly through them.
During the pandemic, I didn’t stay at any hotel at all (as expected). For some reason, I forgot I had those Hilton Honors points on my account. I’m glad they send out these reminders so that you can use them on time, or try to renew them before they expire.

It’s interesting that Hilton Honors never sends out plain text in their emails. They actually embed text on an image before sending it. Maybe to prevent robots and tools from parsing the text.

How to use Hilton Honors Points in 2023?
It’s been a while since I used Hilton Honors, as I was mainly focused on Marriott’s program, so I’m totally out of the loop. I did some quick searches for some stays in Miami in 2023, and I see redemption rates of about 70k-80k a night (so I have enough for 3 nights or so).
I’m looking for advice and suggestions on how to use my Hilton Honors Points in 2023. Feel free to reach out to me via Instagam or here. Where would you stay and what would you use your Hilton Honors Points for?
