Cheapest flight in Sweden 2022: 104 SEK! Ryanair Stockholm to Gothenburg Flight Review (Video)
Last week I had the chance to take my first-ever Ryanair flight! Believe it or not, after 30 years of flying, I never had the “Ryanair experience” until last week.
Is this the cheapest flight in Sweden?
I had to go to Gothenburg to work and I usually fly SAS, they offer some cheap fares and I get a few extra EuroBonus points. However, this time I saw the tickets with Ryanair were less than €10!! WHAT?
The total price, round trip, is 104.12kr. That’s totally ridiculous! It simply doesn’t exist, taxes are usually higher. Even booking with miles/points you pay more than that.
The fare only includes hand luggage (not even a carry-on), but it was more than fine for a one-night stop, so I went ahead and booked it. Now, Ryanair also departs from Stockholm Arlanda which is very convenient.
Just to put things in perspective. A bus to Stockholm Arlanda airport is more expensive than this round-trip flight! How crazy is that?
Anyways, overall I had great fun and a great experience with Ryanair, besides all the horrible stories I’ve heard. One of the flights was operated by AirMalta, which is the Ryanair subsidiary in Malta, maybe for some obscure tax reasons.

It was a pretty early outbound flight and Arlanda was quiet and peaceful. I also got the chance to review the American Express Lounge, Pontus in the Air, new service at Terminal 5 (Airside)
